Yesterday I brought my fiance Gillian up to the Marquette airport to fly out to her place in Palm Springs, CA so a couple of the boys took the 2.5 hour cruise with me. My two cousins, Jordy and Jbo, and my brother Kory came on the trip. A trip to the airport turned into boys night out at the old house I used to live in, which my brother now lives in during the college hockey season.
The day started out with a nice workout at the Wildcat gym in the locker room at the Berry. Then we went out to my aunt and uncle's house for a nice home cooked meal. They weren't home so the beer thief stopped by their fridge for about an hour during dinner and Call of Duty. On our way home, we stopped by the corner store and grabbed a couple more pops for the house and then headed home.
The rest of the night wasn't as exciting as we thought it could have been but it was fun just being with the boys after not seeing them all season. We watched the Bruins/Lightning game on TV and sat around on the couches drinking and socializing. Eventually a bottle of Jim Beam crawled in the room and got in a fight with one of the guys, who we'll not say, and he ended up sleeping with a dead deer head and a cig in one ear. Needless to say he earned the all-star award last night.
Time to go workout this morning
