Lately I've been back home in the beautiful Upper Peninsula in Sault Ste. Marie MI working out and skating and altogether getting ready for the upcoming season as summer winds down to a close. So I decided to do a little filler blog post about my favorite twitter follows. Here is the list of my top 10 favorites.
10. @kooshdawg. Koosh is my brother and plays college hockey at NMU where I graduated from. Best reason to follow is because he knows all the new hockey lingo and ruthlessly chirps all of our buddies.
9. @gillybeans5. Gillian is my wife and has some great tweets that are funny and posts pics of my dog Kaija all the time. Top reason to follow is to keeps tabs on her while I'm away from Vancouver.
8. @sheriffjim. This guy is a country music singer from Texas who used to be a sheriff. He has funny tweets about politics and is a gun loving Texan who takes shots at liberals all the time.
7. @Justinbieber. Simply put, I need the biebs on my follow list so his name is readily available for a good chirp.
6. @kozy15. Kozy constantly chirps me on twitter and that earns him a spot on the list. He is always fair game for a short joke.
5. @mayorNHL. The mayor is a great LA Kings follow for up to date articles on everything Kings on and off the ice.
4. @NHL. This is the ultimate NHL news leader on twitter and retweets new NHL guys on twitter and has some great links to NHL articles.
3. @Jesus_M_Christ. I don't know who runs this account but they are hilarious. So wrong but so funny. Constantly chirps Tim Tebow.
2. @biznasty2point0. Biz has a great sense of humor and loves to cross the line. Throws in some great hockey lingo and chirps. Always has great twitpics and retweets his followers a lot.
1. @bozie42. It doesn't get any better for me following Bozak. Sick NHL player who played college hockey and follows me and tweets back to fans all the time. Always has great pics and constantly shares what he is doing. Another great reason to follow him is he chirps @pmullen14 and I love when mully gets carved by the boys.
